  1. dear U.N Owen,
thank you very much for share. :) but,
could you explain why I can’t copy the cracked rlm.foundry.exe over the original one (C:\Program Files (x86)\The Foundry\\LicensingTools7.0\bin\RLM\rlm.foundry.exe” ?

    here the screen capt.

    thank you :)

    ps : using win 7 64 bit

    • hello, you can?t reaplece it because, you have to Stop the service!
if you are in W7, go to
” Inicio -> Panel de control -> Sistema y seguridad -> Herramientas administrativas -> Servicios.” and Stop Foundry License Server
      (sorry i have a w7 in spanish)

  3. thank you for upload :)
I have very weird problem plz help
all the nodes in the NodeGraph have their text flipped and mirrored
    http://oi46.img-dead/6gd7vp.jpg
plz help how to fix thanks

      • The text being flipped happened to me on earlier versions of Nuke, you just have to install the newest graphics drivers for your graphics card to fix the problem

        • thanks for the help :)
i installed nukeX on my desktop computer and worked without that issue, the problem was due my old fart laptop ^_^ thank you again.

  4. If someone can explain why the rlm.foundry file can not be replaced even I successfully shut down the server by following xforce’s commands in step two (Linux version).

    • do you have admin privileges ? if not try to login as admin to your windows or make sure to disable UAC on your user account

  5. I have no idea of what r u saying. I’m on Centos. The way I do is to “su”, and everything usually works pretty fine. But somehow I followed xforce commands on the 2 step and disable the server. The third step is to replace the cracked rlm.foundry file but it doesn’t let me do it, says”…file is opening or using in another …” (sorry, can’t exactly remember the words but it seems the file I was trying to replace is using in server. Don’t know why. Because I closed the server already. Don’t understand…)
    Help, please.

  6. I’ve got a problem:

I have done every step in installing instruction, replaced HOST_NAME MAC_ADDRESS correctly, FLT is running correctly (there’s no license error) but Nuke and NukeX starts in PLE. They don’t see the license. Any solution?

          • Did you remove “HOST” from the .lic file and drag&dropped it into the lic utilility in the install lic tab?

            • Here’s what I do:

              1. Install Nuke
              2. Install FLT
              3. Taskmanager -> sevices -> Foundry License Server -> stop service
              4. copy and replace rlm.foundry.exe
              5. start Foundry Lic utility, run diagnostics and copy system ID and host name to xf_foundry.lic
              6. open and edit xf_foundry.lic. It now looks like this:

              admin-pc a123456789123 5053
              ISV foundry
              LICENSE foundry (…and ongoing)

              7. copy xf_foundry.lic to “C:\ProgramData\The Foundry\RLM”
              8. start Foundry Lic untility again
              9. drag & drop the xf_foundry.lic into License Install.
              10. It says successful, “…require the RLM server to be started. Would you like to do this now?” click yes.
              11. says successfully restarted RLM server, licenses ready for use.
              12. quit Foundry Lic utility
              13. start NukeX, the licensing window appears. lets me choose between “purchase license”, “activate License or use sever”, “obtain Trial License”.

              What did I do wrong?

              Win7 64bit btw

            • Well, I figured out the problem. After installation I had to activate the license. So when the license window popped out, I clicked ‘Activate license’ and then wrote ‘5053@localhost’ as on Mac version and it worked.

  7. win7 64 it is working
    thank you x-force
we have been waiting for you for about 2 years thank you x-force

  8. YES i’m getting the same problem, license not activate this CRACK is a F***

  9. For me the same the crack didn’t work but i have been fixed it. Just the MAC_ADRESS and Host_NAME problem : for hostname, don’t use caps, because the rlm log will explain you that is a mistake. And for Mac Adress don’t use Network Card Mac Adress but ID Machine. To know it you can go to FLT and go Diagnostics/Run Diagnostics. You have to copy the ID Machine given here. Thanks for this share ;)

  10. To ThatOneGuy
from 6. Stop the FoundryLicense Server from Services (Start, Rin, Services)
    7 is OK
8 Open the FL Utility again with FoundryLicence server Stoped
    9 than drag xf_Foundry
10 again from services Start the server FoundryLicence server
    than start nuke

  11. To ThatOneGuy and everyone
Im sure this is the right way
    1. Install Nuke
    2. Install FLT
    3. Taskmanager -> sevices -> Foundry License Server -> stop service
    4. copy and replace rlm.foundry.exe its located in C:\Program Files (x86)\The Foundry\LicensingTools7.0\bin\RLM
    5. start Foundry Lic utility, run diagnostics and copy system ID and host name to xf_foundry.lic
    6. open and edit xf_foundry.lic. It now looks like this: HOST admin-pc a123456789123 5053 (leave the word HOST there)
….. copy xf_foundry.lic to ?C:\ProgramData\The Foundry\RLM? This folder is hidden so you have to make it visible
    7. Stop the FoundryLicense Server from Services if its runing (Start, Run, Services)
    8. start Foundry Lic untility again
8 Open the FL Utility again with FoundryLicence server Stoped
9 than drag xf_Foundry from Programdata folder
10 again from services Start the server FoundryLicence server than start nuke

    • Thanks a ton! it works. guess it was the “HOST” in the lic file.
      Thank you and praise Xforce!

    • Thankyou for this.
the steps given on this are absolutely terrible btw
(hence all the its not working comments)

    • Hi Supersport.

I followed all the steps. but when i run nuke i keep getting the no license window. do i need to press the ”activate license or use server” button? and if so what will the license server name look like.

      thanks

      • Hey I’m having the same problem. Followed all the instructions, it even says “All licenses were successfully validated and installed” but I still get the activation screen when I launch Nuke.. Did you figure it out how to fix the problem?

  12. works like a charm on OSX 10.8.2!

only issue i had was that i had to do a chmod 777 rlm.foundry

  13. Hey man what a wondefull post been waiting for this one for a long time now
X-FORCE keep up with the good work

  14. mac users, please, write how you ve done the installation!
    thx in advance!

  15. RLM :
Communications error with license server (-17)
    Connection refused at server (-111)
    License Path:
    C:\ProgramData\The Foundry\RLM

any ideas? the service is started. the lic is correctly installed and it has the right header (HOST hostname sysid)

  16. Doesn’t work on Macbook Pro Retina with Mountain Lion, keeps telling me ‘incorrect host and incorrect string in system id’ even though all are the correct ones! This is nonsense, what happened to XF? They used to release quality cracks!

  17. Works perfectly on mac book-pro 10.6.8.
After two days of problems with the license, i believe i get the solution.
My problem was that the app didn’t recognize the license.
To solve this you just modify the permissions of the file rlm.foundry in this way.
(apply this in the file inside the xf folder before overwrite the orginal)

open terminal and type chmod 755 drag and drop the rlm.foundry
    Enjoy.

I have not specified the port number in the xf_foundry.lic and looks like this

    HOST new-host.home 001b25ae194d

  18. Hey all

trying to get this going on mac osx.

I am editing the xf_foundry.lic, getting the host name and mac from the license utility.

should the host name be an ip with underscores and then what looks like my isp’s web address?

Mac address is correst. I replace the file xf_foun… with the licences sever stopped then restart it.

Go to kick off nuke and get asked to activate so I put 5053@localhost in but same thing over, I normally can sort this stuff out but not on this occasion any help would be great.

    reagards

    • Hi again

I am getting this when trying to start nuke after request to activate

      RLM : License request failed.

      and in the licences until

      02/18 00:28 (rlm) Server architecture: x64_m1

(rlm) Cannot bind Web Server port 4102, exiting

      cheers

  19. Finally got it to work on my Mac…here is what I did, might help others or not!

    1. Install Nuke
    2. Install FLT
    3. Stop RLM Server
    4. chmod 755 rlm. foundry than copy, paste and replace
    5. change your xf_foundry.lic

“HOST name-local.home System_ID 4101” (this is what I used, your details might differ)

    6. Copy lic file in the right folder and start RLM Server
    7. Launch Nuke and type 4101@localhost and than select RLM Server

If you are being asked if you want to allow incoming network connections for RLM Server select yes!

This is how I got it to work now, totally of the recommended steps in XF Install document. Try it but might not work for you!

    Burp!

    • Thanks you for your time buddy.
I tried your method and like the last 100 trials, it fail !
I’m on OSX 10.8.2 and asking myself if it’s the reason. But some guys above told us they have suceeded the operation on OSX 10.8.2.
If an apple user have another method or a printscreen galery….well…I would love that.
Feeling myself like a noob on this :(
Never had such dead ends since 15 years

  21. bulls**t! works perfect on Mac Osx Mountain Lion 10.8.2! takes a bit of fooling around until its cracked but it does work!

  22. Can anyone help I have tried all the steps to get this working but i allways end up with the license not found window. I have tried installing it on my laptop and it worked but when i try it on my desktop i keep getting the license error message.

both my laptop and desktop are windows 7 64. anyone know whats going on?

also i deleted all the foundry & nuke folders from my computer a number of times but still no luck. please someone help.

  23. All the Windows users make sure you copy the xf_license.lic into the C:\ProgramData folder and NOT the c:\Program Files folder.

The ProgramData folder is hidden by default so you have to navigate there from the explorer address bar or unhide it first.

After that, everything worked fine for me.

    Cheers, good luck.

  24. hello

    I am getting this error.

“Server returned an error. Details: This key is not recognised. Please check it carefully and try again.”

I am getting a hell of alot further than I was so I think I have every thing right but the license file provided now seems to be causing issues???

    mac osx 10.7.3

    any ideas people

    the doctor

  25. i can’t activate tried all methods no lucky still trying from hours

is there any other way to crack it…

    • Hi, i still with same problem as you on osx, how did u fix it?

      Regards!

    • a couple of things I had to do to get it working

      mac osx 10.7.3

I needed to disconnect my router to get the correct host id.

chmod the rlm.foundry 777 file and chmod +x the rlm.foundry file and probably just a me thing but stop and restart the license server on each attempt.

I did place the port number in the xf_foundry file and you must remember to not remove the first word HOST in the xf_foundry file

      • it may sound a little smart arse like due to the time it took me to get going but.

if you do just follow the instructions letter for letter and remember to start and stop the license server you cant go wrong.

        but the added advice is

disconnect your router (might be just my system) when you run diagnostics via the license server to get you host ID

when adding the host id – mac address to the xf_foundry file

leave the HOST word in the file, it is the first word

put the port number in the xf_foundry file.

after you copy and replace the rlm.foundry file do a chmod 777 (some say 755 but this changed it from a unix executable to a standard file) I also did a chmod +x to it (this is what probaly changes it back to an executable when using chmod 755)

stop and start the license server and away you go.

one extra thing, if you are having to attempt this many times be sure and delete the client license file each time, you will find this in the RLM folder same location as where you placed the xf_foundry file

  26. I’m having trouble getting this going on windows 7 64bit, over a network.

I can install the license fine, and it shows up in the web interface, but i cant sign it out over the network. I just get this error:
    RLM :
Communications error with license server (-17)
    Connection refused at server (-111)
    License Path:
    C:\ProgramData\The Foundry\RLM

    • Matt,
Change the port in your .lic file from 5053 to 4101
this is the TCP/IP port it is looking for by default. That should resolve your problem.

this should work for any of you installing on windows 7 64bit

      • BTW…. this wasn’t made clear on the crack instructions or on this forum. If you launch NukeX after you have followed all of the crack instructions and you still error out. Clear out all floating licenses and logs from the RLM directory (except for your .lic file). Then do this:

        1) launch NUKEX
        2) the licensing window appears and you should then select ?activate License or use server?.
        3) select RLM server
        4) in the dialogue box type “4101@localhost” (without the quotes)
        5) you should be all set after that

  27. MAC USERS ONLY
I tried all of the above… didn’t work for SHIT!!! This has worked for me on Mac Pro with Lion and iMac with Mountain Lion

    1. Unplug Internet
    2. Install Nuke
    3. Install FLT
    4. Stop RLM Server
    5. Copy cracked rlm.foundry file into /Applications/TheFoundry/LicensingTools7.0/bin/RLM after DELETING the original
    6. change your xf_foundry.lic (WITH KOMODO EDIT!!! not textedit, important)

    ?HOST HostName SystemID 4101?

    7. Copy lic file into: /Library/Application Support/TheFoundry/RLM and start RLM Server
    8. Launch Nuke and type 4101@localhost and than select RLM Server (if not working delete everything except license file inside /Library/Application Support/TheFoundry/RLM before launching Nuke 7 for activation.

If you are being asked if you want to allow incoming network connections for RLM Server select yes!

  28. 1. Unplug Internet
    2. Install Nuke
    3. Install FLT
    4. Stop RLM Server
    5. Copy cracked rlm.foundry file into /Applications/TheFoundry/LicensingTools7.0/bin/RLM after DELETING the original

If you are being asked if you want to allow incoming network connections for RLM Server select yes!

    • Hi Johan,

thanks for the info, I follow all your steps but can’t get it to work. I’m using OSX 10.8.2. I get this message when I try to run the app, after writing 4101@localhost and choosing RLM:

      “RLM :
Communications error with license server (-17)
      Write error to network (-104)
      License Path:
      /Library/Application Support/TheFoundry/RLM/”

my HOST line on the lic file looks like this:

      HOST macbook-juan.local 0023df97835a 4101

Don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I would thank you so much if you could help me.

      Thanks in advance, Juan.

  29. Hallelujah Ron, thanks a lot!! 4101 did the trick… AND to whoever wrote the cracking instructions and left out Win 64: die in a nigger’s ass u piece of shit! :D I don’t understand though… if you don’t write the PORT at all, it automatically reads the wrong port… why not 4101? well, anywhoooo… thanks Ron or whoever first mentioned 4101! :)

  30. hey Johan
i’m getting this error after all steps you wrote. Where i’m doing wrong i don’t know. can you plz solve my problem?

  32. Both xfnuke7lnx.part2.rar files in bytesbox and Rapidgator are corrupted. Can anyone upload a fixed file please? Thanks very much.

    • These files are corrupted on your hdd, but not in bytesbox and rapidgator.

  33. I have Windows 7 Ultimate. I have already installed but failed because I can not run properly xf_foundry.lic (probably, maybe there is another cause) I need all the installation instructions for Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bitteeee!
