Duration 4h 1m Difficulty Level Beginner Project Files Included MP4
In this tutorial we will learn the basics of working in the Unreal Editor.
We’ll start our journey by learning the basics through exploring the interface, learning how to navigate and manipulate the viewports, how to place and manipulate actors and how to effectively use BSP geometry.
Once we’ve gotten the hang of the basics, we’ll dive into blocking out our interior room. Here we’ll learn how the blocking phase is a critical part of creating levels in Unreal. After that, we’ll replace that geometry with static mesh assets that will be used for the final look of our level. From here it just gets better because we’ll learn the basics of material creation, which is one of the engine’s most powerful features. Here we’ll learn how to begin building up a material from scratch and use it to drive our instanced materials. Then we’ll start to create the final look of our level by creating a landscape, complete with foliage, light, and particles.

No offense, but you’ll find better learning material for free, right on Unreal Engine’s YouTube Channel. Hell, even the free example files do a great job covering these basics.
Oh, and seriously, guys, do yourselves a favor and just license UE4 legally. Makes life sooo much easier. I don’t regret it for a second. The UE4 client makes life simple and straightforward. Plus, it feels good being a legal owner–gives me pride. I don’t miss Unity foe a second. ^_^
couldn’t agree more.
1. I don’t recall CG Persia charging anything for the material posted on here. And as far as the filesharing services that these files are uploaded to (rapidgator, filefactory, Turbobit, etc.), most people wait to download the files via torrent. So no money is spent there either.
2.These are TUTORIALS on how to use UE4, This isn’t a post with links to download UE4 itself. So your comment to “license UE4 legally” is completely irrelevant to this post. Besides, do you think your opinion on licensing is really going to sway anybody on this site??? Lolz….
yeah his whole post was really out there. I think he meant to say that digital tutors sucks, basically. which I disagree.
The files aren’t there anymore… :/
