In this tutorial we cover how to use Houdini’s Grain’s to composite a hole explosion in Deep. We cover Deep compression options as well as how to setup render layers for proper matte/phantom workflows.

NOTE: See Houdini’s requirements for computer specs. You will need 45 gigs of free space for geometry cache and minimum of 16 Gig of RAM.
