Learn the basics and complexities of character design, from a simple turn to complex posing. Coran will share his unique technique that combines many drawing steps into one, making the design process twice as fast.

Have you ever done a rough drawing that lost all its energy when you cleaned it up? Coran will show you techniques to retain life and energy all the way to the final drawing by making bolder decisions.

The Live Class will consist of demos and lectures where students can ask questions and get in-depth knowledge of the design process. Reviews will consist of live draw overs.

OUTCOMES

By the end of this class, your designs will have an energy to them necessary for you to be a Character Designer in animation. This skill can also be applied to comics, illustration, and video game art.

Coran has been a professional character designer working in the animation industry for 11 years working for Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, and more.
