Water FX inside Houdini can be one of the most challenging simulation FX styles to master. In this course, Juri Bryan, a Senior FX Artist at ILM, will share his secrets for creating impressive fluid work inside Houdini.
Houdini is the gold-standard for simulating realistic fluids and water. In this advanced course, you will learn the professional techniques used to create water FX at the highest level of VFX.
From foam sculpting to underwater advection, we will leave no stone unturned in this deep dive of the fluid FX pipeline.
Week by week we will build our knowledge of core Water FX concepts as we grow in our understanding of both the artistic and technical aspects of fluid simulations in Houdini.

  10. Could have been a great tutorial. Fx in general s a very technical and complicated to explain. Any attempt should be simplified and broken down.

    Overtime unfortunately Saber is unsuccessful in making a simple and efficient tutorial, tends to ramble on, pretending to know physics, air and surface fields.

    the instructions are quite a mess in certain parts, inconsistent and not the most intuitive.
