Whoever named the installer “Cinema 4D.exe” was a complete moron!
You have to rename the installer to something else:
ren “Cinema 4D.exe” cinema4d_installer.exe
or the installer will think that Cinema 4D is currently running, because the idiot that created this packages gave the installer the same filename as the executable for Cinema 4D itself: Cinema 4D.exe
If you want to run redshift on c4d-r-2023-2-2 you need
1:) redshift from maxon
2.) the license ( and it will run 12 months then..no money masta bombastic, no show)
3.) the plugin installer called..this app ( i do not use)
4.) because if You install first c4d-r-2023-2-2, that is given to You
from the masters of universe, CGPERSIA..!!!
5.) then take redshift and the fine App..
6.) You will get total error-message and the c4d-r-2023-2-2 goes down
maybe says, you have no c4d lic etc.. what ever does not work.

Now after installing My viewport is black and don’t show anything no matter what I do, Do you know any solution to that please ?
Also, the installer MD5 checks out. It is the same offline installer as the one you can DL from maxon, so no viruses there.

Can’t install, all the 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 versions say that an other instance is still running even tho there is nothing in the taskbar.
