It works but has a .dll that links to their website every time you open which can be annoying.
Content is missing from the asset browser, namely some capsules and scenes.

What does that mean?
Does it open your browser to a website every time C4D is launched?
It creates a popup window 1-2m after you launch C4D. It says you should support the creators, and when you press the OK button it opens your browser to a website where they sell redshift and stuff.
Uninstall
if closing a small popup is that annoying, go buy the official copy, the popup has a close button and it doesn’t block C4D main window.
Cry harder
It’s working for me, Redshift is included, but when I try to render it says :
“Maxon licensing error: Maxon app service is not available”
Maybe it’s because I did not install it correctly? I was not able to find Maxon folder in Roaming folder as mentioned in the instruction file, so I created one I copied the provided license file in there.
Any help would be appreciated

Is there any previous version that is working correctly and has redshift in it ?
You can also just ignore the pop-up window…or X out of it instead of clicking OK, and you are not led to any website. Redshift works just fine. I have a legal copy of RS and it works fine in here. The free CPU version has always been too slow for real use.
