I’m gonna save y’all a lot of headaches and let you know right away that you also need ksystemutil.dll (copy/paste/overwrite) in program dir after the setup. This file is NOT included in most releases of this program, but do a search for it and you should find it. If not, I can get it to admin if they provide a drop, and then they can include it.

I’m already installed it. I’m going to improve the Readme:
– Install keyshot_studio_win64_2025.3_14.2.0.211 choose install with admins right (run as admin)
1. Copy Luxion_License_Server to C:\
2. Edit the license.lic (you can change the name from keyshot.lic to license.lic with no issues, preserving the .lic):
2.1 Change this_host to your hostname (example GABO-LAP, DESKTOP-DLALRKF, maybe you see another hostname and just replace it to your hostname)
2.2 The HOSTID=ETHERNET is the MAC address of your PC. Replace it with no dashes and lowercase ONLY. Save license.lic.
3. Run the server_install.bat as admin.
4. Extract Medicine folder, Copy the KeyShot folder and replace it on C:\Program Files\
5. Run keyshot 2025.3.
6. Activate my license, then choose I have floating license. Add @localhost or @yourhostname.
7. Once Keyshot opened, go to Preferences and uncheck auto-update. If the app shows to update, do not do it.
8. Enjoy.
