Quadspinner Tropical Vale

Header

QuadSpinner invites you into the depths of the steamy jungle, where life abounds yet few men tread … only the most primitive of tribes. This is the territory of primates, jaguar and other elusive predators, as well as multitudinous species of insects, reptiles, and birds. Their sounds and activities vibrate through the weight of the humidity. A reminder that no trespasser is alone.

This tropical scene features:

– Densely covered walls that plummet from a high ridge into a deep valley
– Distinctive new atmosphere, late morning/mid-day
– Special light fog MetaCloud material.
– An adaptable set to expand on or to use as a backdrop for a more extensive scene.
– Specifically composed to work with both vertical and horizontal frame sizes

Quadspinner Sun Beams

Header

Sunbeams capture the attention of everyone. Whether they appear thru menacing skies over the vast ocean or rolling prairies, or signal the descent of the sun through a dense forest. During those fleeting moments, Godrays often elicit a hush in the onlooker. The name alone speaks of the presence of a higher power.

In 3D, Godrays infuse the same impact into a scene, sometimes foreshadowing the hero’s drama and ultimate victory. However, achieving realistic results digitally can be tricky, as specific conditions are required.

QuadSpinner’s Dax Pandhi has received accolades for his development of dramatic Godrays with physically accurate world-scale. We are eager to share this collection of 4 scenes, each showcasing different moods created by this special atmosphere. We encourage you to treat these scenes as a set – the basic location upon which you, as Director, can build, create, expand.

With this collection, in addition to learning how to create Godrays without needing clouds, you receive:

* Intense yet soft Godrays, with varying coloration and times of day
* Optimal Godray atmospheres that you can take apart and study
* Proven Godray render settings that create smooth, noiseless shafts of light
* Aerial Perspective (AP) for accurate realism: in each scene AP is set to 1.00, using a scale of 1:1 for the atmosphere

AsileFX: Vue Advanced Custom Plant Creation Vol.1 & 2

Includes project files.

AsileFX: Vue Advanced Custom Plant Creation Have you ever felt that your creativity is being limited by the number of limited plants available for Vue?
Are your third party imported plants taking too long to render?
Are you interested in learning how to create your own Solid Growth plants?
If so, this is the tutorial for you!

Advanced Custom Plant Creation, is a cross application tutorial. The tutorial will show you how you can use programs like Photoshop, together with Vue, to create new and completely custom Solid Growth plants and trees.

If you are not a current user of Photoshop, then you will be happy to know that the techniques in the tutorial can be used with almost every image editing application.
Even if you dont plan on entirely designing your own plants, you can still learn how to use existing images maps, like the ones found in the AsileFX Leaves Collection and AsileFX Seamless Bark, to customize Vue plants and trees. Samples from these collections are included with the tutorial to aid in the learning process.

The tutorial is taught in Vue Infinite, but it can be used with any version of Vue that has plant surface editing tools. Photoshop is used to demonstrate all image editing tools, but most earlier versions possess the same tools, and can be used without restriction.

Time to take your Vue vegetation files to the next level!
In Advanced Custom Plant Creation 2, instructor Nicholas Pellegrino, will show you his secrets to creating amazing plants in Vue and Photoshop. Over 6 hours of Vue and Photoshop training.

Learn to create image and Vue scene templates to quickly and easily create amazing foliage.
This training includes several companion files to use while you follow along with the tutorial. You will also receive bonus content, to add to your template files and enhance your scenes.

Includes a highly detailed HTML menu, with links to resources and more.
Click on the image below to view the menu. Some links will not work because they are connected to files included with the training, but they have been left as part of the menu, so you can see all of the features of the menu.

Vue 9 xStream 32/64 (2010/ENG) | 2.69 GB
Vue xStream – professional program for the simulation of landscapes, animation and rendering natural three-dimensional environments, has integration modules with software 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, LightWave, Maya and Softimage. Vue xStream 9 is designed for CG professionals can create and edit any scene, and provides many unique capabilities to create a landscape.

Any scene can be downloaded directly to your favorite program, including your entire ecosystem, all types of atmospheres, cameras, lighting, plants, landscapes, etc. Because some items are special (eg, ecosystem), xStream uses OpenGL technology to display their more clearly and quickly. You can choose to enable this option or change the screen resolution to speed up loading of large scenes. Autonomous scene created in xStream, stored in a format vue combined scenes are saved in native format 3D-applications, or may be divided into the format 3D applications and vue format. In the latter case the native scene in 3D-applications will refer to the vue scene.

Vue and Maya integration

This tutorial provides extensive training on e-on Vue 7 xStream and Autodesk Maya 2009 integration. In this tutorial we will:
Create Infinite Terrain and customize its material with the Material Editor.
Setup the lighting and atmosphere using the Atmosphere Editor.
Use Global Radiosity for indirect lighting optimized for animation.
Configure Vue scene for animation inside Maya.
Optimize Maya?s workspace for animation and efficient integration with Vue.
Substitute Vue OpenGL preview with Maya IPR.
Use Maya Dynamics to add particle simulation effects to our animation.
Batch render the scene in separate layers with Maya.
Composite multi layered renders in After Effects.
Add final touch to the renders like color correction, camera shake, motion blur etc.

Like I said in my VUE8 and Vray in 3dsmax 2011 tutorial also max 2011 its like when we all went from XP tO vista so folder change there structure. So now for Mental Ray its also different I will try to step by step.
Well now max2010 used to intall this in a folder called mentalray in the max main folder. Now in max 2011 since mentalmill has been incorporated into max2011 then now that folder is called mentalimages.
The VUE8 intallation might have created mentalray folder since it did not find one and place what it had to there.

VUE8 and Vray in 3dsmax 2011

Well my friends after scratching my head as many have trying this and looking for an answer I found the way as how this could work I saw that max 2011 can support many plugs from 2010 but the thing is that some structures of max 2011 have vary so something belong somewhere else now. So to make VRAY render VUE8
1. Go to the Max2011 plugins directory
2.Go into the vrayplugins folder
3. look for the Vue7xStream.dlr
4.copy this file and now paste it out side the folder in the normal plugins folder, or you can just transfered with out copy and paste.

Do make sure to delete the extra copy of Vue7xStream.dlr if you have copied and pasted the file so no the only file is on the plugins folder.

Well this is it fire up Max2011 and render in VRAY
Note make sure before starting any Vue8 to first set the render to Vray and than start using VUE8 for it might go a bit off, it has not happen to me but just in case.

This works for I have succesfully render VUe8 in mental ray and now on VRAY with out any problems
I am not trying maxwell render but its more tricky, realflow pluging works fine
