   For completing this goodies…Is there any learning materials
   like ebooks (I saw two of them in pixar website)…etc for this baby….

3. Wow it works for real! Wow! Just one prob when starting the plugins from within maya it says can’t find null.slo. also starting slim makes maya freeze (I believe this is do to the missing .slo file). P.s It will render and is liscensed though.

4. my crack did,t work! Any idea how to install it? when I try to patch it, it could’t write pixar.license file

8. Hi…Thats working really.But does it have a x64 version?because I can see in setup menus 32-bit…I Think this renderer also have a 64bit version.

    I found those when Renderman 2.0 was just released. There wasn’t a crack for it in that time. I also found Digital Tutors renderman training on renderman 2.0:

14. And also, there is no release for 64bit maya. I read it will be released with Pro Server 14, unless I’m mistaken.

18. for the slim problem

    do a search on the pixar folder on c:/program files/pixar (you’ll get shader folders)
    try to merge all the shaders from shader folders together (copy paste shaders from folders until you have all the availible shaders on all shader folders)

21. Thanks SLIM that works…But still when running slim from maya,program freezes and crash…
    I think for first release this is not bad…because we can work in slim independently and also work through hypershade…

23. beyard01 just search (yeah windows search) in pixar folder first. then you have got three or maybe more “shader” folders. then take one of them and try copy content of all remaining folders together…after that copy content of early folder that you has got to those folders and FINALLY copy (I hate this command so) from any of those folders to first one…..OK

32. I did everything the Install told me to, It looks like everything worked. But… One Problem, The Renders are just a Blue Screen. I changed settings and everything. Still a Blue Screen.
    Any Ideas?

35. Ok. This partial solution works
    Merge all shaders folders inside renderman studio folder
    don?t touch shaders in proserver folder, isn?t necessary.

    i?ve everything working but fur and hair support. When i render fur or hair got an error…

    renderman for maya is working ok, render hair, fur,…everything

    I still asking what are those files for ? :

38. my alfrid can’t launch files(“lauch failed”),so always “err-wait”,the file is there,but can’t render it by rendermanprosever,the sever is started(alfred server&license sever).
    my rendermanformaya worked well,silm worked too.
    I tried edit my alfred.schedule ,change “somehost” to my computer name. doesn’t work….
    who can tell me why?please!

42. Maybe someone can help me out. This is kind of strange. I installed renderman studio on one computer, and the crack worked fine. Then I decide to uninstall it on that computer and reinstall it on another computer (although same ip) and although I follow the same exact steps and the two computers are almost identical, it won’t work on the other computer. When I launch, windows gives a pop up with a license error message. Does this have something to do with the fact that the license in the cracked license file can only be used on one computer using the same ip? But how would they know if you are disconnected from the internet? This has never happened before.

45. Is there any crack available for renderman for maya 2.0 or do i have to download 1.1 or 1.0 as a plugin?
    I’ve got maya 2008 and im afraid it won’t run renderman 1.1 or 1.0…

46. The renderman studio 1.0 wich link is above, crashes Maya 8.5 and Maya 2008 in many ways…but still is a fantastic update if you intend use this instead RAT…because it`s Maya centric workflow.
    I really want use this in Mac osx..but the installer comes only with windows app..
    Can anyone help me??

    But however I hit the block

    I have Maya 2008 and it is Mac OSX
    Can anyone help me with Renderman Pro Server 13.5 and Renderman Studio Pro for Maya 2008 on Mac OSX.

    In any case, I will have to settle with Renderman for Maya on mac and Maya 2008.

50. This crack method just isn’t working, admin, do you know what I’m supposed to put in for the host and port during the installation??
