          you also need to look for the alternatives, instead of sticking to only one torrent, which is – more often than not – the first one you come across.

For the guys mentioning an error with the keygen or for another autocad or something, there is a keygen on the disc that works flawlessly, have tried it myself, at the activation screen just press activate it will fail, close the popup and press activate again, where it will take you to the proper activation page where you then press mem patch on the keygen, make sure you are running the keygen as administrator on vista/7. Enter the authorization code and generate the activation code. It will be two fill boxes short of numbers, but if you followed the instructions it wont matter and activate properly.

22. So guys, why is there a difference of 1.5 GB between 3ds max and 3ds max Design bonus DVSs. I’m just curious… :)

    • Never mind, I unrared it and it’s 2,7 GB. Looks like it was just a heavier compression.

26. direct link to autodesk trial (like mudbox 2011) would have been better …. Autodesk have shifted back to that crappy Akamai Download Manager on their website. Why? I dunno. With 2010, users could opt for either ADM or direct download (http). I opted for direct download and got Mudbox, Sketchbook within 2 days; then used XF keygen on them with success.

    • There’s still a direct download option…at least on student’s community download page.

      • Are u a student? If u are and registered with them, could u post the direct link here ? 10x.

        And if any Autodesk execs are browsing these forums, read my lips : “Akamai SUCKS !” Please revert back to the option for direct download. Users should have the right to download ur apps for trial on their own time using their own download methods, and not using a downloader that you force them to use. I’d email you about this, but your website provides no way to email your webmaster or whoever is responsible for uploading your apps. And to think that I filled up ur online survey form giving you +ve ratings (at the time I wasn’t thinking about download hell)
        … if I had my way I’d get back that form and paint a big ‘NULL & VOID’ across it and give my reason for doing so!

27. An “Entry point not found” error pops up at startup but I can just close it and continue. Anyone with some ideas on how to fix this?

      • solution
        repair file: 11backupDVD1.part07.rar which holds the problematic file 27

        once it has repaired the file, rename same as 11backupDVD1.part07.rar and delete the old .rar file and replace with the new fixed one. :P

31. have a problem when i have max open, wen i right click to go to the context menu it appears to disappear wen i move the mouse over it, tried to capture it using snag-it but it wont show prob cause the menu is flashed based!! Any out there who can help..

32. running windows 7 x64 and this version of max x64, with ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, 12gb of ram, so hardware is not the issue, hav latest drivers too..

    I?ve a problem when start max2011 after installation.
    He gives me in an alertbox “error 20” (something fail with licensing) when splashscreen comes up, so there?s no way to come to the activation window and use the crack from the disc…

    max 2010 is already installed and works fine with the same serial, product key and crack…

    So have anyone a solution?

Hey, on X32Bit; when the activation screen is up and i open xforce, i click on mem patch, and it says ni debug, and then ?you need to apply patch when licence screen appears, and then nothing else. i put the requested code and generate, after i get the activation code, i get only 14X4 codes and i click Next, but then i get error. and it closes down. can?t open 3ds max normaly. Can you tell me pls what i do wrong? plsplsplsplsplspls Play Boy or someone else

    • What I did was: (1) I let the activation screen come up first, (2) opened the keygen, (3) copied the registration code onto the keygen, (4) pressed mem patch, it said “no debug” and a second later it said “successful patch”. (5) Then I hit generate, (6) got the activation code and copy/paste it onto the activation screen, (7) hit next, and it said congratulations. Make sure you turn off all anti-virus or firewall programs. Hope it works for you, good luck.

      • Thanks “myvoice” for the advice… i tried and still can’t make it. I really don’t know what else to do. I followed your steps and turned off antivirus and firewall and even saw a video on youtube how to install max 2011 and did everything what that guy did, but i still get that ‘no debug’ and then ‘you need to apply…’. I just don’t understand is that i’m doing wrong. Is there any other way of patching or crack? Help someone please, i’m desperate!!!!!
