Yes it does work. Seems fast and no watermarks. Install was a breeze. Ensure when you install as always workstation and uncheck key drivers. Unsure if you need to, but to be safe. More chance of DBR working then. Must check if it has that

Am I the only one having problems when trying to do Distributed rendering with this crack? I can not make the render slaves render altogether with my workstation…and sometimes the workstation just hangs when rendering alone. I never had any problems with the SP2 before.
I need the Maya version of this program.
I don’t know why Maya is not as popular as 3ds max.
I think Maya is more powerful than 3ds max and it is available for Linux and Mac while 3ds max is only for windows.
Someone please release the Maya version.

I have Vray 1.5 SP2 installed in windows Vista 32bit. May i uninstall Sp2 to install the SP4 version,or it is not necessary? There is no explanation in the crack archive.
Or it is just to recover the dll and the dlr i have installed with SP2 after installing the SP4?

maya user ?? maya is not powerful that 3dmax depends of who is using it , probably you never reach to the level of some people using max , doesn`t matter if you use maya , pixar o your tunning car 32 valves lol

It is at least 30-40% slower than previously correctly cracked 1.5 sp2 advanced demo…
Working with vray for a long time tested it on x64 versions of 3ds max 2009, 3ds max 2010 and 3ds max 2011 and tested 1.5sp2 with 3ds max 2009. 1.5sp2 30-40% faster no matter what, with identical settings, geometry auto, static, dynamic
it crashes when openning sp2-made scenes , 4 times slower on clean scenes

I guess we will have to wait for a properly cracked version.
But, for quite some time, vray doesnt improve in rendering time, according to people who own legal copies, while other renderings engines improve rendering times with same quality.
My maxwell 2.0 renders at least 40% faster same quality… vray always the same rendering times…
Anyway, i hope properly done sp4 will be somewhat faster…
So its better to stay with vray sp2 for time being?

VRAY sp2 18,36 min
VRAY sp4 18,42 min
The problem is an error the stop max , sometimes appear:
error UNHANDLED EXECPTION: Setting up instance lights Last marker is at .\src\vrenderlight.cpp, line 152: Exiting VRenderLightObj::init()
maybe a distribute render problem…

with a light scene, a medium scene and a heavy scene

Beats me as to why the developers don’t release a single installer that handles all recent versions of max in either of one (32-bit or 64-bit), rather than one installer for 2009, another for 2010, and surely (in future) even another for 2011! Just make one installer that’s detects which versions of max is/are running on your system and accordingly install vray for that version. Seems more feasible doesn’t it ? After all, the underlying architecture in all recent versions of max is the same.

(53 minutes, compared to 28 minutes of SP 2demo crack)

why some people have no problem with slowdowns while others are? Hardware Problems ?
