Maxwell Render? is a rendering engine based on the mathematical equations governing light transport, meaning that all elements, such as emitters, materials and cameras, are derived from physically accurate models. Maxwell Render is unbiased, so no tricks are used to calculate the lighting solution in every pixel of a scene; the result will always be a correct solution, as it would be in the real world. Maxwell Render can fully capture all light interactions between all elements in a scene, and all lighting calculations are performed using spectral information and high dynamic range data.

  3. Max plugin.rar not working.

    Could anyone upload just that option, please?

    It’s quite hard to find a Max plugin for this version, I would be grateful if someone do that.

  6. Ok. The solution is easy. If you have a previous version of plug in then when Max start, it tell you that there is a new version of Maxwell Plug in. Simply click in the URL and download the new version. It work fine for me in Max 2010 and 2011 x 64.

    The app is working, but the hrd light studio is only a demo version… someone help??

    • The HDR Plugin is a extra plugin, and not directly a part of maxwell render.. It even says so in the installer.. RTFM

  14. rhino plugin doesen’t install, it can’t find rhino5 beta x64 (already installed)
    any solution?

    • seems that the file path of my rhino5 is different from the one searched by the installer

        • Nobody find solution for install maxwell plugin for Rhino5? After I started install plugin, it pop up window with : No Rhino x64 installation could be found on this machine. Please inastall Rhino x 64 before attemping install this plguin.

          Problem is, that I have Rino 5 beta version already installed. So what I can do?
