In this series of lessons we’re going to be using random seeds to generate variations on one animation system using a SOP solver with DOPs.

We’ll learn how to build a procedural SOP Network and simulate its behavior using a SOP Solver in tandem with RBD. We will light and shade this geometry to build an animation system that can be run to create an infinite number of possibillities.

  5. the first thing i read was Rigid Body Dynamics in Houdini with Jonah *Hill*
    i was like whaaat??! he makes tutorials now?! LOL

  6. yes i am also having trouble connecting and picking up lesson 3 with lesson 4!!!

    something is defineatly missing here..????

    he starts off in video for …. with “lets keep going” and has all the noise channels imported and i cant move forward its driving me crazy..

    whats good about an uncompleted video tutorial collection? you might as well wait to post the complete series.
