Sintel artist and Blender Certified Trainer Lee Salvemini returns with Volume 2 of his Character Creation series. This second installment will take the modeled Ninja and make it animation ready.   5. LOL.. I love the description on the site… “If want to get expert in rigging with Blender”… If ANYONE wants to get ‘expert’ they shouldn’t be using Blendud in the first place.

    • Heh, I can’t add much more to what Ir0nboy said. Just that I currently work with Max and Maya at studios and Blender for personal/freelance/training. I actually find what I learnt in Blender with rigging entirely helpful for translating to other packages. But yeah, the Blender hate still exists. I can only suggest have another look, recently a huge amount of dev work has gone into it, and its still free ;).

  8. actually i do more and better stuff since i move from maya to blender, ok maya is for experts but the power of blender should never be underestimated.

    Actually I’m honored that you guys are interested in the training. I had talked of course with you all with my previous DVD in the forums, and I realize most of you are currently studying, these prices are probably a little high in that circumstance.

    I didn’t want to come in and cause any fuss, but just to mention we are a pretty small, fairly new training website, so even if you poooled together some people for one download purchase, let me know and I can send out a few high bandwidth links to all those who chipped in (supercheap hehe). All the support really helps us out, this rigging DVD ended up about 3 months fulltime work =)
