Setup can not copy some files.
Please check path.
Be sure that 3ds max is not running.

That means you need to start the installation while Max is shut. If it seems closed already just check from the task manager and kill the process.

i get an error message that it does not support vray2.3 or any other render available ,did i miss something on the installation or what.
hey, any confirmation if this works with the new versions of vray like 2.0 and above….
Can not be used because of the lack of system files.I found the reason.
Unfortunately I do not understand how to upload files.
after install the plugin and run the 3dmax 2012 x64
i get this error:
“The program can’t start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer.Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.”
You need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) and (x64) prior installing MS.

i download and place the MSVCR100.dll in my windows\system32 folder and the plugin works fine
what exactly does this do? does it speed up render time in Vray

I have a problem, I have installed the plugin on 3ds Max 2009, but when I open 3ds Max I get an error saying that it can’t find the .dlo file in the plugins folder. Anyway I have copyied this file there and I still get this error. Does anybody know what should I do? THanks!
haha bad luck, it says not supported by VRay 2.20. and above :P
