Wait what? i thought mudbox was integrated into maya and there will be no 2016
What? Is this for real? There are no news of a 2016 version of Mudbox on Autodesks website and I can find no previews or news of it anywhere.

It was not really integrated in Maya, it’s just a first step. It’s lacking a lot of features, has no support for painting, and according to Autodesk you’re not supposed to do high poly sculpting in Maya. So Mudbox is not getting killed, like Motion Builder is also not killed, they’re very useful professional tools very much needed in the industry.
What is this 2016 tho… I thought they made it subscription based.
