The 12 images below are each 8kx4k pixel lat/long files. Most are accompied by background plates some are not (sorry!) These files are best suited for 3d work but please feel free to experiment with them.
If you do use these images for anything besides learning, I ask that you not take credit for my work.
Further more all of these images are licenced and protected under a Creative Commons License. If you are not familiar with how to incorporate HDRI into your 3d project then please look at the tutorials page of this site. Another great resource is Savannah College of Art and Design Professor Kirt Witte, his site contains lots of information and links. http://facultypages.scad.edu/~kwitte/.
Lastly please feel free to contact me if your interested in or need help shooting HDRI and i will do my best to point you in the right direction

Torrent would’ve been superb.
nice stuff …. wish he’d have provided a zipped version on the website … would’ve been easier to DL. Those files are huge as is usual with HDRi. It’s gonna take ages on my 56k (well …. theoretically 56k, but practically half that!). Hell even a torrent would have been better … I’m sure seeds would have built up really quick and it would’ve been snapped up in no time. Hey crazy8 … did you get that ? ;D

Warning: Be sure to scan all the downloaded files with your Antivirus and if there is an executable or installer file, make sure to have your antivirus active and open in the background while installing or running the app. Some of the materials posted here are downloaded from CGPeers, So they could potentially have something injected in them.
We always ask bloggers to scan all the files before publishing the posts, but sometimes it's hard to detect all these things, so if you found anything suspicious (Not false positive, Generic, Patcher, Riskware and Heuristic results, most patches could get false flags like that by some Antivirus companies.) be sure to post comments with the file name and a VirusTotal report result link or the file MD5 Hash (higher than 30% overall positive result).
