In LightWave 10 Essential Training, author Dan Ablan provides thorough, step-by-step instructions on building 3D models, scenes, and animations in LightWave 10.
Beginning with a tour of the interface and LightWave’s two main programs, Modeler and Layout, the course covers key concepts such as building models from basic polygonal shapes, assigning textures, and employing lights and 3D cameras to build real world scenes. I know that’ll sound a bit hypocritical to say here, but if you can *please* support the author – which’s excellent! – and buy the training. The Lightwave training scene is already very scarce as it is, and Lynda conditioned an “advanced” training to the sales of this one.
Oh and Josh, Lightwave doesn’t even have to “kill” Max, Max already kills itself. And the OS performance, the host machine, probably the whole network etc. Now get back to your grave and be a good zombie :)

Thanks alot of r uploading the tutorial. I have had some issues downloading from these links these days. Last tutorial i tried to download, didn’t work at all. I plan on downloading all the Fileserve links. I was wondering what all these other links that are bing posted. What exactly are mirror links? And why are there only 3 of them? Should i just give in and get the 30 day file serve upgrade? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance
Warning: Be sure to scan all the downloaded files with your Antivirus and if there is an executable or installer file, make sure to have your antivirus active and open in the background while installing or running the app. Some of the materials posted here are downloaded from CGPeers, So they could potentially have something injected in them.
We always ask bloggers to scan all the files before publishing the posts, but sometimes it's hard to detect all these things, so if you found anything suspicious (Not false positive, Generic, Patcher, Riskware and Heuristic results, most patches could get false flags like that by some Antivirus companies.) be sure to post comments with the file name and a VirusTotal report result link or the file MD5 Hash (higher than 30% overall positive result).
