  10. can anyone provide the name of the .dat file? thanks a billion~!!!

    • The name i think that vary, it only appears when you open ndo2 for the 1st time, the file is created in your doccuments, but still the crack doesnt seems to work at least on 64 bit, ndo2 crash when you open it, but it looks that its working on 32 bit.

      • WHERE in your Documents and Settings folder? A path would be nice! That folder is huge and has lots of fucking .dat files! I am running XP and the .dat file is NOT in the /users/username folder! The only thing there is softimage folder and because I am on XP and the users folder is a vista win7 thing I am guessing that folder got created with the softimage installation and the .dat for ndo2 is some other place and that is why so many are having trouble finding it!

  13. it worked for me.. I run ndo2 for the first time.. (Run it as administrator).. Once started it generates the {*}.dat file in C:\Users\*nameComputer*.. Deleted.. close the application and photoshop if it opened automatically.. replace ndo2.exe with the x64 crack.. Run it again as administrator.. Works fine..

  16. How to instal and apply the crack:

    – instal soft as Administrator (IMPORTANT!)
    – run soft from Desktop as Administrator (IMPORTANT!)
    – choose Trial and press Continue Trial
    – close nDo2
    – close Photoshop
    – go to: C:/Users/YourComputerName/ and delete the long DAT file
    that .dat-file is to check how long is left on the trial, if you delete it, the trial will say expired, thus the crack will work.
    – go to CRACK/x86 or x64 and copy nDo.exe to Quixel instalation dir
    – WORKS!

  18. yeeeeeeeeeeee lo hise y aqui les explico para los que tienen windous XP:
    -primero instalan el programa
    -segundo reemplazan el crack por el original :C:\Documents and Settings\Administrador\Datos de programa\Quixel\nDo2\x86
    -tercero corren el programa desde el escritorio y no se preocupen si se les cuelga la maquina como me paso a mi que tuve que reiniciarla bueno superado ese inconveniente me fui a buscar el bendito archivo del que hablan arriba a mi se me creo aqui C:\Documents and Settings\eee.EDUARDO logicamente ustedes tendran otro nombre para su pc; bueno entre los muchos archivos que tengo alli se me creo uno nuevo que se llama NTUSER.DAT.LOG y bueno lo que ise fue eliminarlo y EUREKA?????????? se me abrio correctamente el programa solo hay que tener abierto photoshop con la imagen que querramos sacar los Bump .

  19. The crack instructions are on crack! I am running windows xp and there is no .dat file created in the users/username folder. I also looked in docs and settings/username/application/quixel folder and the is no .dat file anywhere in that folder! My suspicion is that this mysterious .dat file is placed in different places depending on the version of the os possibly. But I cannot find the god damn thing. As a note I just went ahead and replaced the executable with the cracked one and it is working for now without the time remaining screen popping up. But I will know in 30 days if that is perminent. My score for the guy that did the crack is a F-

  21. Okay for those having trouble finding the .dat file.

    (1) if you are running vista or win7 read on, otherwise go to (2), it will appear in the c:\users\ folder and will have a rather large random sequence of letters and numbers in the name and ending in .dat. To help turn on date and time and look to see it was created around when you launched ndo2 for the first time. Also not you must launch ndo2 at least once after installation to create this file and to be safe be sure you have exited the program before you delete the .dat file

    (2) if you are running XP then the .dat file should appear in the c:\Documents and Settings\ folder. DO NOT delete NTUSER.dat. I repeat DO NOT delete that folder. The one you want will have a very long random string of letters and numbers and will end in .dat. To be safe turn on date and time and be sure it was created around the time you launched ndo2 for the first time. Also be sure that you have closed ndo2 before you delete this file to be safe.

    It seems to be working for me so far. I want to thank the uploader of this app and try not to be to mad at him. He probably did not know the file gets put a different place for XP.

    The install/crack instructions I would write would be.

    1. run the ndo2 installation program
    2. after installing, launch each version (x86, x64) you intend to use. You should get a 30 ANNOYING count down timer pop up / or you will get a message the trial period has expired (I had loaded the trial earlier and it had expired). In either case be sure to close ndo2 and go to step 3
    3a if you are running vista or win7, read on otherwise go to step 3b, go to c:\users\ or the name you installed the application as and look for a .dat file with a long name of random letters and numbers created about the day and time you first launched ndo2 and delete it

    3b do this if you are running xp. Goto c:\documents and setting\ or the user name you installed the program as and look for a .dat file with a long name of random letters and numbers created about the day and time you launched ndo2 for the first time and delete it.

    *******************DO NOT DELETE NTUSER.DAT*********

    4. okay now copy the cracked executable from the appropriate files x64 or x86 to the appropriate folder where ndo2 was installed. To find the path just look at the properties of the icons to launch each version.

    On vista / win7 it will be something like c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\quixel

    On xp it will be something like
    c:\documents and setting\username\application data\quixel

    Hope this helps guys. Cheers and thanks for the upload

      This is going to happen every place I put username in between “” sorry and I did such a nice job of trying to clear it up and the damn parser butt fucks me. lol

        okay I cannot use the GREATER fucking THAN or LESS fucking THAN symbols when posting in here.

        every place you see c:\users\ append username that you installed ndo2 as for example c:\users\administrator

        likewise for c:\documents and settings\ append username that you installed ndo2 as for example c:\documents and settings\rambo

        This is where the .dat file will appear

        also NTUSER.dat is a file not a folder and please DO NOT delete this file!

  22. If you delete the dat file in 7 ultimate 64bit and reopen the program, this regenerates the dat file.
    If you replace the original with the cracked and reopen the prog, simply does not work.
    Sometimes the 32bits works…..
    I think the crack is bad..
    AND IT IS A LITTLE LARGER THAN THE ORIGINAL…
    Till today i never used crack file different than original.
    May be matters, or maybe not…

  23. tienes razon xxx no se elimina el archivo porque se vuelve a crear lo que hise fue lo siguiente para los que tengan XP
    haber el ntuser.dat.LOG se crea en dos sitios:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Eduardo y en C:\Documents and Settings\Default User lo que hise fue eliminar en CONTENIDO del archivo mas no el archivo en ambos sitios y con eso solucione el problema.

  24. The preview option doesn’t work with the crack and it’s also incredibly spotty and crashes sometimes for no reason. This is effectively useless until the preview works and the program doesn’t crash randomly.

  27. I had trouble with the .dat file, but then I took an arrow to the knee. ;)

    I’d been having trouble finding it, but it turned out I had been looking over it all the time! It was in the C:/Users/YourComputerName/ – however, thanks to the tip of checking the date and time to see when an item in that directory had been created, I found that the .dat file was listed as a .VCD file instead! – It was of course a .dat file, but as I had that file type associated with another specific program I use, it seemed to think it was a .VCD file.

    it looked a little like this: {58C482E3-0C46-43EC-8EE5-C7230FFBC3D6} VCD file (of course if you really look at it, it actually was a .dat file.)

  39. Fix need updated…all the above random issues exists,making the plug-in a sort of obsolete….Torrent is not a must; the whole package is reasonable in size guys.

  43. This is totally useless! The view cube does not come up. Running vista x64 and the latest nvidia drivers. Spent two hours banging on buttons, scratching my head, and trying to discover if there was a secret hidden hand shake in the HORRIBLE and mostly non-intuitive UI to make the god damn cube appear but it just does not come up.

    So this looks like it is a bug in the 1.04 version making this entire thing useless.

    I a, not sure what the latest version is and I checked the forums and they are reporting this bug for windows xp x64 but seem to think it’s just a xp x64 problem. I guess I will just wait for a proper version but I would never pay $60 for this thing. It’s to fucking buggy even when I was using the Beta. They rushed this ting into RTM.

  45. How to crack ndo2 win7
    After install ndo2 you must be run ndo2 one time and then you can find file .dat in C:/Users/YourComputerName/
    exam:
    C:/Users/YourComputerName/{58C482E3-0C46-43EC-8EE5-C7230FFBC3D6}
    del it and copy crack to ndo. dir

  48. whenever I try to install, even as administrator, it always stops 3/4 at execute: “C:\Users\name\appdata\local\temp\vcredist_x86.exe” /q
