No prior experience with Gaea or Unreal Engine is required. Both software options offer free versions, making this course accessible to anyone eager to explore terrain creation.
You’ll discover how Gaea’s node-based system enables non-destructive creation and how procedural generation techniques can effectively mimic natural formations. After completing your work in Gaea, we’ll move on to exporting the terrain and importing it into Unreal Engine 5.
Please note that this is a Gaea-focused course. It does not cover foliage, materials, or other advanced features in Unreal Engine. However, by the end of the course, you’ll have a terrain in Unreal Engine, ready for further decoration.
