This is where it all began at Sound Ideas – our original Series 1000 royalty free sound effects audio tape library was the first sound effect library of its kind to be made available on compact disc. Its 28 CDs contain over 3,000 professional quality analog sound effects in a wide variety of categories. This collection from the 1960s and 70s is also a valuable source of vintage archival sound effects.

    Why make the parts 48 MB, Just plain annoying for us free users. Just make the parts 200 MB and it would probably end up like 6 parts or something.

  6. There is no list of the sounds that I can find in the library. Would be handy to have, as they are all simply numbered mp3s.

  9. If you have to d-load all these from Rapidshare, just get J Downloader. It’s free, downloads all the selected files and needs no supervision for captcha.
