Lumion is a real-time 3D visualization tool for making movies and still shots of architecture, planning and design. It is also possible to give live demonstrations.
The power of Lumion is that it offers excellent graphics in combination with a fast and efficient workflow, saving time, effort and money.

Content
Content import
Lumion imports contents from 3D authoring tools, such as Google Sketchup, Autodesk products and many other software packages.

Some features:

– Imports DAE, FBX, MAX, 3DS, OBJ, DXF
– Imports TGA, DDS, PSD, JPG, BMP, HDR and PNG images
– Importing lightmaps is possible

Content library

Lumion also contains a content library with buildings, cars, people, animals, street furniture, roads, pavement, stones, hedges, etc.

Scene creation

Lumion provides scene creation using a full GPU based 3D interface and real-time editing. It provides landscape creation, adjustment of daylight, sun, sky, clouds and water. Highly optimized rendering makes adding tons of 3D content to the scene possible.

– Realistic water, several water types
– Advanced sky and cloud rendering, animated clouds
– Landscape rendering and editing, over 40 landscape themes
– Sunlight adjustment based on geographical coordinates and time-of-day
– Accurate measurements to place objects, marker tools for precise placement
– Easy material editing, over 450 materials in the content library

Output to movies and images

Users can create movies by simply taking photographs of their scene. The camera path between the photographs is automatically generated.

Some features:

– Edit Camera speed, smoothness, view angle
– Add clip effects, such as fade-in, fade-out
– Edit scene effects, such as object movement, sky/sun animations
– Add title screen and post processor effects
– Output to MP4 and picture sequence, maximum resolution 1080p
– Support for print-resolution still images, maximum resolution is 7680?4320

Theater mode

Using theater mode, giving live demonstrations of your scene is very easy.

Some features:

– Passive stereo output.
– Quality level adjustment for speeding up rendering on low-end machines

– Requires NVidia GeForce 8800 or similar ATI/AMD
– NVidia 260GTX / ATI 5850 or faster recommended

  11. Every time I try to start the LumionInstaller, Windows Explorer freezes?

    Any ideas?
    I tried DLing from both hotfile and fileserve and it behaves the same way. I’m on a Windows 64.

    also there no others options for models imported and the models imported are not exactely the same :s

    But i can say it’s a great beginning with this software.

  26. For win 7 – 64 bit users… Lumion in some cases dosen start the Installation proses.
    Just turn of the firewall and your anti virus, before you start the installation.
    After the installation switch back to normal.
    * This happens because the anti virus starts to scan the huge .exe file
    which is not responding.

  27. hi,guys,lumion3d has beed updated now,but now we only use the new version demo and old version crack,so we can only use some new function,but can’t get the new trees ,flowers, and so on. do u get the new full-version lumion?

    everything freezes when i click the .exe file..

  33. Update working!

    It’s very simple indeed…

    1 – Install Lumion 3D 1.0 full version
    2 – Overwrite Lumion.exe with crack

    At this point you have the 1.0 version fully working

    3 – Install the 1.1 demo version in a different folder
    4 – Copy all files from the demo folder to the 1.0 folder excepte UMION.EXE and the CHANNELS folder.

    And that’s it!! You’ll have the full library from the 1.0 full version, and all the new commands from the 1.1 version (including scale, etc)

    Maybe some command will not work, I don’t know, but so far, so good…

    • i already installed de Lumion 1.0.. how can i do to upgrade it pleaseee someoneee!! i already try what eddie says but all of my first cars, vans, etc are imported without wheels! pleasee! someone who can tell the solutions.. thanks!
