Sure, Modo is great for arch modeling. It’s got plenty of decorative 3D templates and in Modo 501 snapping features are much improved, they’ve even added a very nice “2D snap” mode for alignment of vertically or horizontally offset pieces of geometry. Very cool. IMO the only thing that comes close in that arena is LWCAD, a Lightwave 3D plugin.
As for video tutorials, browse for the paid video tuts available in the Modo site then have fun searching for them online. Small hint: filestube.com ;)

Any of these downloads include SDK?
None of the DVDs i have downloaded so far has, but according to Luxology, necessary SDK files are supposed to be included in the DVD.
