For this new series, we?ll be showing how to make a simple 3D platformer concept game in the spirit of classic action/adventure titles such as ?Tomb Raider.? The idea is to step up from the primarily 2D approach provided in our previous projects and explore the world of full 3D game development.
This will be critical as we prepare to jump into our upcoming MMO project. As a matter of fact, this 3D platformer will give us the opportunity to introduce you to a few of the core elements that will be used in the development of the MMO game itself!
The 3D platformer game will focus on the following key features:

? Environment light mapping using Beast
? Dynamic occlusion culling with Umbra
? An intuitive custom-designed 3rd person camera system
? A customized character control and animation system
? Interactive puzzles and mini-games for the player to solve

anyone got the project files for this? As the videos are freely downloadable from 3D Buzz but the character files etc are not. Thanks.

Is it true, the project files are not included, so anybody can share please.
They don’t let you download the assets except for the Maya level. Just follow the fucking tutorial lazy ass.
lol, kills me why people always want the sample files, 90% of them for all tutorials are useless, but in game dev it actually comes in handy as you can see how there character is setup or special nodes on the toon.
