    • agreed, why hasn’t anybody been able to release 2.0 for maya yet?

      • I’m gonna assume that you have horrible grammar skills:

        4. Not tight-fitting or tightly fitted: loose shoes.
        5. Not bound, bundled, stapled, or gathered together: loose papers.
        6. Not compact or dense in arrangement or structure: loose gravel.
        7. Lacking a sense of restraint or responsibility; idle: loose talk.
        8. Not formal; relaxed: a loose atmosphere at the club.

  1. works nice!!

but vray RT renders to bright sometimes.
after a restart of the VrayRT engine it renders much darker.

  2. no need for 32 bit…. only collector kids would use a 3d max 32 bit version anyway.

everyone who is serious has 64 bit installed.

      • lol…. show me a serious 32 bit 3d max user!

i bet 99 out of hundred you will show me can not do more with 3d max then create a sphere on a checkerboard floor.

        • you’re right men)
          Wall-e’s signature:
          4. Switch to 64-bit OS & apps today, it will be the best desicion you ever make
          lol

        • with my old computer i couldn’t use 64 bit but that didnt make me less serious. yes, there are many limitations in that case, but that doesnt mean you cant work in 3ds max. believe me, there are many 64 bit users with a put a sphere on a plane knowledge, so its not the system limitation, limitations are usually in people. and if somebody doesnt know how to use a crack, no need to call him a looser.

          • So, are u using 32bit for mirror ball rendering, if your computer is so old u probably don’t have GPU on your graphic card, and 3.5 Gb of ram is enough for u? Or u are so lazy to install 64 bit OS?:)

            • If you’d be just halfway as professional as you are acting you would make enought money to BUY this thing.

Warez are for people who cannot affort the real thing – to learn and to educate themselfes so that one day they can buy it.
This is exactly what EACH serious Group propagates.

And I guess there are still alot of people out there stuck with an old machine… so respect their needs – like everyone else respects yours.

            • i have 64bit version now.. when i say my old computer i mean a computer i used to have. just to make that clear. but just because of that i’ll always respect the needs of people who for some reason still have 32 bit version. be tolerant

        • This 32bit Max user has over 15 years game industry experience! I think I can produce more than a sphere…Show us your website, reel or examples

    • I hate all this “you are not a pro” shit around in the cg forums.
I’m sure, most of them, trying to make others think they are the real pros, have a small penis. :-)
The real pros don’t talk about, because they don’t have the time to discuss this with kids.
And, really, I don’t think there is any real pro here at cg-persia, just because a real pro cannot afford to use unlicensed software. Period.
Most of the people here at CGP are hobbyists (me included), may be serious hobbyists, or students. And that’s ok for me, because they don’t really hurt the CG- industy with downloading cracked software.

    • Hey lamer. WHen you have a renderfarm with both 64 bit and 32 bit machines, then you’ll want 32 bit install. Until then STFU.

  3. thanks for the x64bit but

    YES – we need x86

not all of us can afford to upgrade to x64 machines yet –
we have kids and mortgages and heavy taxes

would appreciate efforts for x86 until Intel/MS give them up

  4. Hi,
I work at tabriz university, there we use some softwares that does not run properly on 64bit operating systems.
although I am not a professional 3Dmax user but I will be so glad to have the chance of using Vray 2.0 SP1 for 3Dmax 2012 x86.
    Thanks CGPersia.

  5. Hey,

has anyone had the chance to test if it works with previous version of multiscatter? Or do we have to wait for new multiscatter to be released for 2.10?

Previous version was for the first patch, 2.01.

  6. T work we have a 64bit but at home a 32 bit. Although not needing for a 2012 max, I would surely appreciate a 32bit for max 2010. I don’t consider myself stupid just because my pc doesn’t work at 32 bit. Yet I won’t pay more money to get a 64 bit.
Thanks to all for letting us have this stuff, you’re doin’ a very appreciated job

  7. Thanks for the release.

Could someone tell me why no one uses rapidshare anymore?

  8. Thanks a lot for this release.
BTW, I’m on x64 since 2005, because 3 GB switch could not help me any more. No way to make anything serious without x64 today.

        • sorry my bad – SP1 does not work with solidrocks 0.98….

but from sr forum they are releasing 0.99 soon.

  9. Nice.
Anyone know when vray proxies are going to be supported in RT. Its killing me!!!!

  10. yes please x86, we?ve many pipelines in 3ds max x86 CAt FOR EXAMPLE

  11. thx for these !
32 bit for 2009 would be great – still on max 2009 here…at home
    64 bit at work, hehe

  12. thanx so much…
    long life to cgpersia crew…
oblique you are the best of the best

  13. plz i don’t know how to crack it …someone can help me windows 7 64 bits

    • 1. Install VRay
      2. Place the crack files in your max root, and cgauth.dll in your Chaos Group\V-Ray RT folder
      3. Enjoy

  14. Nobody serious uses 32 bit software? You do realise that Photoshop x64 doesn’t support 32 bit plugins, which most if not all are? While Max may indeed run better in 64 bit, saying 32 bit is obsolete just shows peoples lack of understanding the pipelines that are used in the industry. Tools!

    • As soon as you render a big enough scene, 32bit max will just crash. Yes, nobody who does any half-serious work can use 32bit max, period. Apart from that, computers have been 64bit capable since what, 2005? So there is no upgrading cost :P

  15. pls release X86 versions as well, we are not some rich bastards who can afford x64bit systems…

    • Man….. i?m not rich and i have a freakin 64 bit system…. you know why?… because i obtained it the same way i obtained this software.
But once again….. if you are going to flame me for using “not so legal” software, then you shouldn?t even be here looking for VRAY.

  16. WHERE IS MAYA VRAY 2.0

I REALLY WANT IT TO RENDER WITH MY GTX 570

PLEASE GUYS YOU PEOPLE CAN GET IT DOWN

    V

    (. )( .)

  17. Well, where’s the 2010 installer ? Damn, I use 2010 yet, because it doesn’t has any bug… :/

BTW, thanks dude, but if it’s possible, upload the 2010 installer. ;)

  18. please v-ray 2.0 for maya macosx…if any have I appreciate very very much…thankx

  19. Myeah, 32-bits (86x) would be really appreciated. As someone else said: not everyone can afford a 64-bits machine at the moment. If someone wanna make a donation, HOLLA! LOL! ?_?

  20. i wouldn’t care about x86, but half of the machines at work are still x86, and i use them for network rendering, so keep them all coming plzzz :/\

    ASS!

  21. anyone haveing probs with UV map? tiling texture seems to be ignored… it does not matter how – scaling the UV map gizmo or tiling the texture…

    • Please check if “Real World Map Size” is checked and turn it off. I recommend learn to use Real World Map Size settings, seems to be more intiutive for me.
