In this short course we?ll go over using the Unity Tree Creator to create a tree. The Tree Creator is a somewhat hidden feature of Unity that is quite useful for creating any type of game optimized vegetation. There are quite a few settings and this course is designed to break it down to understand all the sliders, curves and drop down menus.

Things covered in this course include:

  • Creating branches and leaves
  • Utilizing curves to customize trees
  • Using wind zones and adjusting wind settings
  • Example of alternate vegetation that can be created

We?ll end the course by providing an example prefab of a bamboo set to give you an idea of the different types of vegetation that can be created with the ?tree creator?.
