Lynda – Photoshop Retouching Techniques: Skin

As master retoucher Timothy Sexton says, “Retaining natural texture while meeting your client’s high standards is key to successfully retouching skin.” Timothy returns to share this insight and many others on retouching skin in this installment of Photoshop Retouching Techniques. He looks at a variety of skin textures and tones and reviews the step-by-step treatments typically given to beauty shots, as well as more character-driven editorial images. Learn how to use the Clone Stamp and Patch tools, color correction, and a light hand to create beautiful, smooth skin while avoiding that over-retouched look.
