    • seriously, mac users nearly ALWAYS have to wait many months if not years for patches, cracks, updates, et cetera when it comes to graphic design software… just build a pc and you’ll never have to wait again, besides if you were to compare the prices to the hardware running in macs to a custom built pc, you’d be saving yourself many hundreds of dollars if not thousands.

  13. Eu apliquei o Patch, diz que est? tudo bem, mas quando inicio o KeyShot2, ainda aparece como DEMO, porque?

  14. I applied the patch, says that everything is fine, but when I start KeyShot2, still appears as DEMO, why?

    • I have installed the demo, then when I click the patch it looks for the keyshot.exe, which i can see but cannot find it from the patcher…..Am using win7 64bit….Could U plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Help me….with this Ghosty thing…Thank U :(

    The same thing with the previous version here in cgpersia i don’t understand why keeping the same patch that doesn’t work ????

  19. Works absolutely perfectly with Windows 7 64bit. Installed and patched perfectly.

    This software is awesome. Love the new turntable option, wish you could animate the camera though, maybe next release :)

  22. I still get watermark across render and in screenshot mode so patch not working for me.. 2.0.31

  24. x64 bit working ok on windows 7. Few crashes but think that is just keyshot software.

  26. This is a fun tool, but I think the new version of Bunkspeed’s ‘Shot’ will be much more usefull. It kind of seems like a waste of time to download any renderers that don’t use GPU acceleration these days…

    I want to use the patch of Amun Ra ^, but my computer tells me it’s a Malware win32 … Is this normal? I have to disable my anti-virus?

  31. to all the ppl here blaming mac:
    I do ask for mac versions since the mac is more stable for heavy softwares, I compare painting in photoshop, sculpting in Silo or Modo and every benchmark give the same results: windows get unusable one step before;
    to have the same responsiveness in windows, I must use simpler brushes, less polygons and so on…
    that’s why real men have macs…

    • …well for brute force CPU usage like a renderer does, even a PC makes do, but the way it sucks memory slows down the whole process compared on how a mac works with memory (especially virtual memory)
      PS: real men have both :P

    also i clicked activate at the splash screen and the software just started working I never got a .lic file.. Am I screwed now, tried reinstalling the software but the patch says the same thing and the splash screen won’t give me the option of getting a demo .lic file anymore.

    help!

    never got a chance to get a DEMO license, only options were activate get a request file?

  37. For those who the license server is not responding (many), could someone post a “keyshot2.lic” file please!

    If we dont get the license file first we cant use it no matter the patch.. It’s alwasy been like that in prev versions too, and people who have hypershot/keyshot previously installed dont have this problem.. but for a clean install you need a license file (no, hypershot.lic doesnt work, neighter previous keyshot.lic)
