so you re telling me that this will work with maxwell proxies for example ?
or only geometry is suported ? … on the other hand ich there is a option to make it array of instances than there is no problem with that could you provide it for max 2008 ? pretty please :P

I have a problem…. 3ds max says “Vray adv 1.50 SP5 doesn’t support by current multiscatter version.”

This one is just what i needed.
is any one getting this error loading DLLs message:
DLL failed to initialize.
Error code – The specified module could not be found
I checked the location, it is refering too, the .dlo is there…
not sure how this will affect my usage, but seeing any errors upon starting 3ds max seems like it will cause problems.
Could this be a vray issue? i have vray sp5…

my 3dsmax crashed with 35K,multiscatterer grass instances.it happened twise without any warning. just colapsed. dont know what is the reason. play DVD boy, thanx for this post , but could u tell me the reason.

Hi guys, first.. thanks to PDB for posting this.. But I cannot run it on Vray 1.5 SP4. I have a Max Design 2011 and if I choose Mental ray renderer it works.. but under Vray it doesnt.. Any ideas?.. The instalation process went fine.. I have just no idea where the problem could be… :(
i have 3d max 2009, and when I hit render… star to compile information, then when start the ligth cache it colapse it , and appears ” 3d max error” so… I’ve tried everything, changing the DMC sampler, turning off the displacement, even change the irradiance map for brute force!!.. and no result.. so please.. can anyone help me? Is there any configuration of vray specific for multiscatter?

I installed it in Max2009x64 and it constantly crashes whenever I finish selecting the scattered objects and press the +teapot button. Thanks for nothing.
