To get Vue working without any hassle:

  • Always Run the installer & Keygen as Admin then run the
    application as admin also.
  • If possible turn off UAC (User access control)
    if you have issues installing/activating.
  • Try disconnecting from the internet and kill the process of any applications such as teamview that run on port 80
  • If you have two network cards please
    disable the secondary (E1) card and make sure the mac address the keygen displays
    is the same as the mac address as your primary Network Card.
    (Use ipconfig /all or getmac commands in CMD to check mac addresses)
  • Make sure you have the latest display drivers as
    Vue can be ‘more buggy than usual lol’ with out dated drivers.
  • Try using a registry cleaning utility to clean out any
    corrupt keys from your registry before install.

If problems still persist try this:

  • create another user account on your machine with
    administrator privileges when running installer or keygen on your main account right?click and hold shift then select run as other user.

If problems still persist sorry i can’t help you!

  29. For Mac OSX
    To get the Install to launch do this

    Launch terminal and set the path to “Install Vue” Contents Mac OS.
    eg: cd /Users/Desktop/Vue\ 10\ xStream\ Install/Install\ Vue\ 10.app/Contents/MacOS

    and use the commands :

    sudo chmod 755 Setup
    sudo chmod 755 Setup_adminRights

    Do it again with Install RenderCow.app and Install xStream plugins.app

    Also when you have installed the crack and the activation file, when you open Vue10 it tells you bad activatio… ignore this.

    Close vue and then find the xStream.reg, change with cmd+i the permissions so that you are the owner and you can read and right. Open the reg file, and change the mac address to the one you are actually using. save and start Vue.
    It works !

  37. Thanks a lot. Installation goes fine under Vista 64 but activation fails with “bad activtion number” Hope that someone can help. Thanks a lot.

  41. Thanks a lot IronBoy! Got a problem with activation (win7 64): I followed the installation guide video, everything ok until last step where pop up says wrong activation number. I would appreciate any hint, guys!

  42. Unfortunately can’t get it to activate in OS X Lion. Tried using correct MAC address but still doesn’t work unfortunately. :(

    • 1) Look for the Vue 10 xStream.reg under your mac disk/shared.
      Open it with cmd+i, go to sharing and permissions, add your user with write and reed privs + on icon of cog wheel make your user owner of the file.

      2)Open Vue 10 xStream.reg with textedit. See where it says MacAddress – substitute the one there with your ethernet macaddress.
      You can find your etehrnet mac address in sys pref – network – ethernet – advanced – ethernet. eg : 00:1e:c2:12:aa:a3. Copy this to xStream.reg but without the (:) ie. 001ec212aaa3.

      3)save the reg (if it dosent let you you havent done step 1 correctly)
      open Vue10 and enjoy.

  43. Just activated it using OS X Lion. Works great. You guys having trouble; make sure you use the correct MAC address in the keygen. Default is Ethernet, but most of us use wifi. Open up the Network Utility to find the correct MAC address. Good luck!

  46. F, MAC address ok, it has automatically picked the wireless lan, but I’m still getting this “bad activation number” message. Thank you anyway!

    I can install vue 10 on OSX 10.6.8, I tried to launch it in the terminal but it did not works. What can i do?
    vue 9.5 does not works.

    • To get the Install to launch do this
      Put the folder on the desktop, launch terminal and type the following substituting “youruserhere” with your actual user name:cd /Users/youruserhere/Desktop/Vue\ 10\ xStream\ Install/Install\ Vue\ 10.app/Contents/MacOS

      Enter, now type:

      sudo chmod 755 Setup
      sudo chmod 755 Setup_adminRights

      Do it again with Install RenderCow.app and Install xStream plugins.app
