Question. Is all python language the same for every 3d application. I mean is programing python script the same in C4d which uses and owns python as say poser or another application? would this training serve for what ever application?
Syntactically yes, but there are many libraries that have been and are being developed for Python. One of the first you’ll load will be the math library. There are others. When you’re working with the Python API in Maya you’ll be using the Python syntax to load and run Maya MEL commands for example.
And so on for all the other programs that utilize Python scripting as a platform for running their commands.
except for working in Maya/MEL you would use PyMEL to not having to map MEL commands to Python
Thanks for the Information. I am as you probably guest not a programer however I am a C4d user and now they run Python so it is time to give it a try.
Thanks!
