  4. I cannot find “their” genarts.lic in the rar file. What am I missing metioned in the “install_win.txt” ? help please.

    step 3. Open “our” genarts.lic with a text editor (Notepad).

  7. I’m with zood, the archive is missing the sample genarts.lic file, which should contain the licence entry for Particle Illusion and which you need to alter to your machine details for the crack to work, without it you’re using a 14 day trial version.

    Great shame as this is a v cool product!

  9. for me it can’t even find the location of cs5 installation, i cannot install it at all.

    hey there, use the “pIAE_Win_102_installer.exe” to install the plugin. After insall this plugin check out your HDD, the default location shoud be something like this: “C:\Program Files (x86)\wondertouch\rlm”. There you will find a file named “particleIllusion_AE.lic”. I think this file is what your after =]

    or search your system for this filename …

    I ran the install as you describe but the file you mention then just contains the following three comment lines…

    #For manual activation, copy the entire license key text
    #from the activation website and paste below these lines.
    #Make sure you save the file!

    The install textfile says “3. Open our genarts.lic with a text editor (Notepad). Edit the line: HOST machinenamehere yourMACADDRhere 2701”

    But there is no genarts.lic file in the archive, there is one in C:\Program Files (x86)\GenArts\rlm after install but it just contains the three comment lines above. I tried just adding the line “HOST machinenamehere yourMACADDRhere 2701” with my details substituted but no dice (I didn’t really think it would work).

    Did anyone install this and have more than a trial version running? The way to tell is to click on the “about” in the effect settings within After Effects. If so, could you kindly paste the contents of your genarts.lic file here…

  13. @ fatbot (sorry for the name issue)

    I actually did not install the rlm license server, I install the plugin as follow:
    For the main install I used the “pIAE_Win_102_installer.exe”.
    After that I just copied the already cracked plugin files from the rar package (to find in the “plug-in copy” directory) to my AE plugin directory …

    So just install the plugin and just copy “particleIllusion.aex” & “particleIllusion_64.aex” to your AE plugin directory. In my case I copied this two files to: C:\+++\Adobe CS4\Adobe After Effects CS4\Support Files\Plug-ins\wondertouch

    Do not install the rlm server. If you have it done already, try to uninstall.
